You are perfectly equipped to do the job God has called you to do.

Philippians 2:13

For it is God who is working in you both to will + to work according to His good purpose.

Jesus supplies abundantly in our lack, He calls us to our vocation + gives us both the desire + the ability to work out His good purpose. Wherever we are, whomever we have home … He will give us everything we need to engage in love with the people around us. What a mighty promise! Our job? To be seeking Him, to be studying and in prayer over each of those people we are meant to love. His word says He will do the heavy lifting if we come tender. One tip* that is working for me to stay tender to His direction is to write the first letter of each word of a verse I’m attempting to memorize on my hand in the morning…it keeps it in my line of sight during the day and keeps me motivated to solve the puzzle, if you will, of letters by mentally generating the entire verse. (Pilot G2 pens work the best at writing on my palm.) If a verse especially pops out at me in regards to one of my kids I am quick to write it down and attempt to memorize it so that I can be praying for that child as I recite the scripture all throughout the day.
